In 2008 (October?), Marian Aguilera attended the Club de las 25 event at Hotel Palace de Madrid, celebrating women who contributes to the advancement of women. Ms. Aguilera appears to be an active supporter and member (?) of the club. The Club of 25 is formed by a group of professional women related to the media, culture and the arts, fashion, business, academia and research, public health administration, which once a month meets at Palace Hotel in Madrid to interact and exchange views on different aspects of our environment. The association also opens its doors to supporters and friends, organizing every two months at the same hotel, lunch and a special guest lecture on specific topics, then an open discussion.
This group maintains, since its establishment, a progressive vision in defense of the rights of women. This defense is conducted with a positive attitude, looking ahead; looking for innovative ways in the realm of ideas and actions, and denounce and reject discriminatory attitudes and ideologies.
